A friend's review of my Bewitched screenplay....

Hi, Herbie:

I just finished reading your script, and LOVE it! It is just as I thought it would be - a wonderful, magical fairytale. Maybe you can adapt it into a children's book and find an illustrator to add some beautiful pictures? If, for copyright reasons, you wouldn't be allowed to do that, maybe you can create a new character and use elements from your script that would not be associated with Bewitched, or come up with new ones? That actually would be better, because then when the book sells like crazy, the showbiz folk will take notice and want to make it into a movie. That would be poetic justice, wouldn't it? Just something to think about.

Either way, you have a great gift for dialogue. It's charming, clever and funny. You paint "word pictures," and I was easily able to visualize what was going on in the script. No bumps.

Where did you study screen writing? Have you ever tried to sell any other scripts? If you have, and weren't successful for whatever reason, maybe the credit you received for being a script consultant for "Bewitched" will help you - if it's what you want to do.
