This blog was originally posted on August 4th, 2004. Unfortunately, it’s a true story. Fortuantely, it’s also very funny.
So I'm lying in bed the other night, around 3 AM, wide awake, thinking about all the great things for which I have to be thankful.
In a moment, to my window the left of me, I hear something rustle behind the mini-blinds. I look over, the rustling stops, and I think nothing of it.
A few seconds later, the rustling starts again - and I take a second look.
As I peer back at the blinds, they indeed start to move again. I look closer and, in a second or so, I see something FLY out from behind the blinds.
Is it a bird?
No. It's plain to see.
It's a BAT!
That's right: a BAT!!!
I freak out and leap to my feet with a screechingly loud little-girl scream.
I then search the room for a weapon of defense. I soon realize I have nothing but a bed-sheet to protect me. So I wrap the sheet around my waist and head for the phone.
I dial 911.
I really didn't know what else to do.
So I dial 911."911 Center...?"
"Yes, thank you,” I say. “There is a BAT flying around my apartment. Please help me!"
"Uhm, Sir. I'm sorry. But e don't do bats!"
"What?! How can you not do bats!?"
"I'm sorry, Sir – we just don’t."
The bat now heads for my head. I screech again, and slam the phone down.
I then untie the sheet from my waist and create some kind of elongated, rope-styled weapon. And in a moment, it's only me, now looking like JUNGLE BOY, and the BAT. Mano eh Bato.
The bat is screeching, "Eeech! Eeech! Eeech!"
I'm screeching, "Yikes! Yikes! Yikes!"
The bat’s wings and batty little eyes are flying towards me.
I'm swinging my sheet-rope."Eeech! Eeech! Eeech!"
"Yikes! Yikes! Yikes!"
The battle between JUNGLE BOY and the BAT is on.
I swing at it, and swing at it, and swing at it. And miss.
At one point, my sheet-rope gets caught on the oven door in the kitchen. I pull at the sheet, and from a mere sheer shot of brute super adreniline strength, the oven door comes OFF it's hinges – as I myself then become un-hinged.
The bat continues to attack - and I nervously try to untie my only available weapon - before I'm bitten and transformed into some kind of creature of the night.
I finally free the sheet-rope, and after a few more swings and a lot of YIKES!, I don't see the bat in the air.
I HIT it! It's DOWN.
I look around - and find it's body under the dining room table.
It looks dead - but I somehow feel the need to finish the job. So I run over to my bookcase and find the biggest book I can.
It's ROGER EBERT'S MOVIE VIDEO COMPANION.
I take it from the shelf, throw the sheet over the bat, and start pounding the bat with the book.
This bat has flown it's last fly.
I get some newspaper, fling it in to the trash can, and bring down to the basement dumpster.
I return back upstairs to my apartment.
I look around at the battleground.
The rustled mini-blinds. ROGER EBERTS MOVIE VIDEO COMPANION on the floor.
The oven door off it's hinges.
And I laugh...LOUD... in victory, like I'm some kind of new character combination
between someone on LOST and/or LORD OF THE FLIES.
Then I really laugh…like a normal person.
And a few moments later, I try to go back to sleep. But I can't.
All I can think about was the bat.
Then I thought about how strange it was that, only earlier in the the day, I was reminiscing about how much I used to love DARK SHADOWS. And how I now see a bat on the same day I'm recalling another famous Bat/Man - in the guise of DS's Barnabas Collins (played by the iconic Jonathan Frid).
Just exactly how much power of visualization do we really have?
Couldn't help but think that we have a lot.
Either that, or I just need to learn to keep my windows shut.

Here is more Heavenly-insight from Near-Death-Experiencer Rudenski (of Curesone.com) who uncovered great wisdom regarding the being he calls The Librarian (who thinks he's God) and the true God of Love and Light above the Librarian (who REALLY IS GOD).
Through the ages, humanity has been confused as to why God would want disease, war, pitting nation against nation, hatred, etc. Well, the good news is, God never ordained this behavior in man and he doesn't now. As Rudenski has explained in various posts on Curesone.com, war, disease and the like - and anything having to do with a reward/punishment value system - all of that stuff is the work of the Librarian.
So, essentially, we can all relax - the True God above the Librarian is all about LOVE. And that's it. Not judgment, not condemnation, nothing along those lines of division or separation.
In the post that Rudenksi has made today (and the one I have transferred here in this email), the message is clear (and somewhat similar to my very own Message Of Light that I email everyone every so often - and which I have listed below for your convenience following Rudenski's comments):
All that matters is the love we have and the love we give away.
That said, and as the world seemingly continues to lose its head, I encourage you to keep yours, to keep reading and visiting good thoughts like Rudenski's archived posts at Curezone.com, and to love and forgive everyone in your life every second, every day, every moment, in every way.
Via RUDENKSI (at Curezone.com):
"We, all of us who have soul, fell into our bodies like baby birds who are kicked out of the nest...through our willfulness to burn for the things of the flesh...but hopefully...like the prodigal son...we learn to overcome the desire for chemical burning that covers our soul and still seek to love unconditionally. Each of us with a soul may be overtaken by the chemical desires of our bodies but as we return to heaven, our souls are all white as snow in heaven. In the presence of the Father of lights, all color is blistered away. We are all intense bright children of the Light of God when we leave heaven to enter our mother's womb. If the carcass over our soul diminishes the perfect, beautiful, intense orb of light we are when we leave the creator of that light then it is only a temporary condition. No color could stay in Love's presence and maintain a pigment. We(our souls) are literally made out of the same substance as God who is made of light which is love. In the tunnel, on the way home to our true nature, whatever pigments we may have picked up while we lived will be filtered out in the tunnel on the way home. Before God, after the filtering, we will stand kneel and before the God who is love and testify what we have learned about love while we lived in a dying mortal body. Whatever love we were given and whatever love we gave is all made out of the same substance (The light of God) and will survive in its perfect light form.In conclusion, there are spirits that hide from the light that may discolor our souls as they attach to us...disease...chemical addictions...that may burn a different color than the light of God, but they are not us. God didn't create us in a caste system. We are all made out of love. If we souls appear to become different colors then it is only an illusion. Everything made out of light will return to the light and all things made out of the substance of death and dying will die and be forever forgotten by the God who is love. Serving love should be the very most important intention...as only love will survive this world...."
Herbie J's MESSAGE OF LIGHT
In the beginning, we were all one big ball of light. Then a few of us decided (through the gift of God’s free will) that we needed to separate into billions of tiny balls of light. Then a few more decided that we needed to take physical form. Sooner, than later, we found ourselves divided by all kinds of issues (with no answers) that we created, not God. So, now we have to create the circumstances (i.e. Earthly challenges with which to learn life lessons and/or reincarnating until we get it right - learning that love is the answer to everything) so we can return us to where we started: Together, united as one - back to God.
Here's a quick guide: Christmas and Easter are symbolic messages of whom and what God is in our lives. God comes to us as we believe Him to be. If we are Christian, then we believe Him (and will see Him) as Jesus. Muslim? Allah. Buddhist? Buddha. And so on, and so forth, and so good. Jesus was God Incarnate on Earth. As the Son of God, He was and is the Awesome Deliverer. As the Son of Man, He was and is everything that each of us should aspire to be in/on this Earth realm. As a Human Being, he was one of the kindest to ever have lived. As a Historical Figure, he was a genius. Jesus' life was a living parable...a parable similar to those he was so fond of dispelling while he was on Earth. The Birth of Jesus is symbolic of the Birth of the Christ Consciousness in each of us. The Resurrection of Jesus, is symbolic of the Resurrection of our Hearts, Minds and Souls to our Higher Consciousness.
Joseph Campbell was right. Look to the message behind the myth, myth, here meaning, story, a.k.a. Bible Stories. This doesn't mean that the Bible stories are myths, as in fantasies or as in never happened. No. Indeed, they were real and did transpire. But they transpired as history and parable, and we must concentrate on the latter as lesson for the development of our souls. In doing so, we must not employ judgment. Rather, we must love and respect one another, ignore our differences, and concentrate on what makes us the same - which is God.
God doesn't give a flying fig if you're Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Black, White, Straight, Gay, or Martian. We're all on different paths that lead to the same destination. Once again, back to God.
It's that simple, and it's not difficult and it has nothing to do with hate, for there is only love. It has nothing to do with death, for there is only life. After what we call death, there is only more life, and that has nothing to do with division and the end of the world. For there are only new beginnings, and unity, linked by God.
Therefore, hold on to God, and let go of the world.

...during one of my return trips from LA to Rochester...I was packing stuff for the moving truck...and I thought I had everything...
...until I realized that I forgot to pack my typewriter...an old IBM Selectric upon which I had written my first Bewitched book...
...but the truck had already left...when I had returned down the stairs (from my Aunt Elva's apartment on 6th street)...
So, there I am standing at the corner of 6th and Montana in Santa Monica (a very exclusive part of Santa Monica, I might add)...with this typewriter in my arms...
And I'm looking up and down the street for the truck...
And to my amazement...I spot it...PARKED...a few blocks away - in front of some other apartment building..
So I run up the street - with my this typewriter in my arms...screaming, "Hey...wait a minute...Mr. Moving Person...Hey...!"
The head-mover notices me, as he's helping someone else move from another building. And he kind of just looks at me with this incredulous expression on his face, and says...
"Man - you must be living right?"
"Uh," I start to say, somewhat out of breath due to running up the street, "..what do you mean?"
"This never happens," he goes on to explain. "First of all, I never have two clients within the same block. And second of all, I can't believe you caught me in time."
And once more, he repeated, "You must be living right," as I handed him my typewriter, smiled...and walked away.

I think I may have pre-planned the "trip" the night before, but either way it was WONDERFUL...WONDER-FILLED.
I arrived at Charlotte Beach, which is on Ontario Lake. I took a beautiful awesome walk down the Pier. The weather was ideal. A perfect breeze; a perfect blue sky with one tranquil beaming light of sun blessing the morning. And NO ONE else was there! This Pier is approximately 1 and 1/2 miles - and NO ONE ELSE was there. I couldn't believe it.
I went up to the end of the Pier, and watched the beautiful calm waters. I mediated. I prayed. I talked aloud to God. I was still and knew God. It was just so magical.
After a bit, I turned, and walked back down the Pier to the shoreline. Went to my car, got my blanket, etc., found very Kung Fu Caine spot under a shady tree, ate a soy yogurt, read a little bit from one of my favorite Angel books (The Angels Within Us), and then took in some sun.
An hour or so later, I walked over to the "Port of Rochester," which has been completely renovated and expanded, and it's amazing. It looks like FRANCE over there. I then had another soy yogurt, went BACK to the Pier, and walked up it a SECOND time.
I then drove over to Russell Station - a prime fishing spot on Beach Avenue, and I was, of course, compelled to visit the old Pilato picnic spot at the top of what I guess could be called Charlotte Hill. The big oak tree we all used to picnic under was gone, replaced with a pretty flower bed, but that little Mom-n-Pop "anything you want" store was just across the street.
I remember how we used to pack a lunch on Sundays, and travel to the beach "all the way from our house" on Erie Street in the city (which was maybe about ten miles). Then, of course, it seemed like a thousand miles. And now, here I was, all these later, still walking up and down the hill that was broken with old sidewalk cement slates that were even old THEN. It looked like the same sand that sparkled and speckled the grass was the same sand from 1966. It sure all had the same aroma I remembered.
After my trip to the Beach, I of course had to travel to Greenleaf Meadows, which is where me, my sister and my parents moved after we left Erie Street.
Greenleaf is a beautiful townhouse/apartment home complex with a gorgeous pool, a tennis court, and a location with the beach and a golf course right up the street. Not only that, Schaler's Restaurant (which has the best hamburgs in the universe) and Abbott's Frozen Custard is not more than a half-mile away.
What else could anyone want? When we left Erie Street for Greenleaf Meadows we thought we were living at Fantasy Island. It was awesome.
So, when I went into the Greenleaf office, the manager there, Giovanna, was the same manager working that had been for twenty years. I just stopped in to say hello, and she immediately invited me to stay the day at the pool...free of charge...with a special guest pass from the office.
And I accepted.
I went to the sparkling, "olympic-sized" pool, and once more, NO ONE was there. I had it all to myself. The pool is located directly across from where our old townhome is. So as I basked some more in the sun, I listened to the teen lifeguards talk; it was all the same conversations; different kids; but the same conversations, and it was sweet. "Yeah - starting college on Friday; looking forward to it."
I just shook my head and laughed a little giggle.
I then I glanced over to my old townhome - 27-T - and remembered...remembered how my Dad used to drive home every day with my Mom, after picking her up from Number 7 School where she was the lunch lady; how they used to stop at McDonald's; after which they would always also pick something up at Wegman's Supermarket.
I remember, too, how my Mom would always bring me something home from the Number 7 School lunch room; an apple, a sandwich, whatever extra she could muster. Though I was well into my twenties and later, early thirties (when I returned to Rochester to write my first Bewitched Book), she still would bring these "sweet" foods home to me.
My parents never had a lot, and when we moved to Greenleaf, they had a little more, but their lives were always simple and they always appreciated the simple things. But man was their life happy - and FULL.
So, anyway, around 3 PM, I went back to visit Giovanna in the office, and we reminisced some more; and she still had the little white ceramic angel that I gave her when I left Greenleaf. I treasure that she treasures it.
Soon, I was off to Tops Supermarket on Mt. Read Blvd. I had to get a carrot muffin. It is one of my favorite things, and this day was turning into doing all of my favorite things, visiting all of my favorite places, and eating all of my favorite foods.
So, after I got the muffin, I drove to Brown Square Park near Erie Street, and reminisced some more.
In what seemed like only a few minutes more, I was back home at my computer, checking my email...and yet still embracing the wonderful magical spiritual "vacation day"...more of which are now scheduled on my horizon.
I ended up visiting all of my favorite places, reading one of my favorite books, and eating all of my favorite foods.
I tell ya' when it's bad, it's bad. But when it's good, it's awesome.
What a beautiful, strange and magical day.

And England Dan and John Ford Coley were right, too, when they sang,
"Love IS the answer!"
Because it IS.Lately, I've been concentrating on loving everyone and everything as much as possible. I know it says somewhere in the Bible about there not being anything negative that "enough Love cannot heal" or something like that (I'm sure someone knows the exact passage and quote). What's interesting, too, is that, as many of those who have had a Near Death Experience, in particular, come back with the "Answer," and remain in awe of how simple that "Answer" is.
Some remember what the "Answer" is, while others do not.And that "Answer" is LOVE.Your smile is LOVE. Your work is LOVE. My typing this is LOVE. The joy you feel is LOVE. Even the pain you feel is LOVE.
When we are in "touch" with that LOVE - in all of its forms, ALL becomes conscious LOVE.
It becomes US.
Or should I say, we become AWARE that WE are already LOVE itself. It feels "good" to feel LOVE because it is the most natural thing in the Universe.
It IS the Universe.
It feels good to feel JOY because Joy IS LOVE.It feels "bad" to feel "hate," because it is the opposite of who we are - and we are out of balance.
When we get back in balance, we are back in LOVE.Anything joyful is LOVE feeling LOVE. And everything else is LOVE, too...It IS so simple.

Twisted Double-Helix Nebula Found in Milky Way
WASHINGTON (Reuters, March 15) - Cosmic nebulae usually look like blobs in space, but astronomers using the Spitzer Space Telescope reported on Wednesday they have found a nebula twisted like the double helix of DNA.
"Nobody has ever seen anything like that before in the cosmic realm," said Mark Morris of the University of California, Los Angeles. Most nebulae are "formless, amorphous conglomerations of dust and gas," Morris said in a statement, adding that this one "indicates a high degree of order."
The discovery of the twisted nebula, which stretches across 80 light-years at the center of the Milky Way, the galaxy that includes Earth, was reported in the current edition of the journal Nature.
A light-year is about 6 trillion miles, the distance light travels in a year.
"We see two intertwining strands wrapped around each other as in a DNA molecule," said Morris, lead author of the Nature article.
DNA, which forms the basic material in chromosomes, has a molecule that looks like a twisted ladder, known as a double helix.
The strands of the nebula may be torqued by twisted magnetic fields at the Milky Way's center, Morris said by telephone.
These magnetic fields are indirectly spawned by the gaping black hole at the galactic heart, he said. Black holes are massive matter-sucking drains in space, pulling in everything around them so powerfully that not even light can escape.
But before the matter falls into the black hole, it swirls around its edges. This rotation twists the magnetic fields, which in turn twist the nebula's strands, Morris said.
The nebula is relatively close to the black hole, just 300 light-years away. Earth is more than 25,000 light-years away.
NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope detects the infrared energy emitted by objects in space with high sensitivity and resolution, enabling it to clearly see the nebula's distinctive shape.

* Eliminate all alcoholic beverages and soda. If you must have alcohol with your meal, make it only one nice, cool classy glass of white wine - with dinner. Though red's okay, too. And if you must have soda, make it ginger ale. But ideally, only drink bottled water. Preferably, Aquafina. And NEVER drink JUICES with your meal. At breakfast, have your juice at least 20 minutes BEFORE your meal. The acids of the juices do not mix well with food. That's why people, from when they are very young, frequently get stomach aches.
And when you do drink juice, make it GRAPE JUICE. And NOT generic, but WELCHES. And not white grape juice, but actual GRAPE GRAPE JUICE. (Though make sure to dilute it with bottled water bottled. Otherwise, there's too much sugar in the juice for your system.)
And oh yeah - GREEN TEA is REALLY good for you. It eats away callories, in addition to just plain being a wonderful anti-toxin in general.
* Eliminate ALL white breads, and Italian/French loaf-concoctions. Eat only pumpernickel or darker breads. Marble or rye is fine. Wonder Bread is POISEN.
* Eliminate ALL fried foods. Eat only baked or broiled meats, though preferably fish or fowl.
* Have your salads AFTER your meals (you know, like the smart people do in Europe). And drink water before, after and during your meals.
* Eliminate ALL white pasta, and replace it with either wheat or spinach pasta, preferably spinach.
* Eliminate ALL dairy products, especially milk. Milk, like juice, taken with food is disruptive and poisonous to the stomach.
* Take as much Vitamin C (Ester-C, preferably) as possible. 1000 mg., or more, per meal is not too much (though check with your doctor on this, first). Meanwhile, study the research of Linus Pauling (http://lpi.oregonstate.edu/infocenter/vitamins/vitaminC/printc.html).
Overall, don't eat too heavily before 12 NOON, and don't eat at all after 8 PM. Also, too, talk kind to your body. Tell it how much you love it (if it works for plants, it can work for the human body). Read the books The Power of Prayer Over Plants and The Hidden Secrets of Water.
If at some point, you become DESPERATE for say, a hamburger, at least make it a regular burger (with no cheese or bacon), and please, please at least eliminate the french fries and various toppings.
Sometimes the emotional need for a Schaler's or Fat Burger outweighs the physical detriment of red meat. This is acceptable.
But why is red meat SO bad for you? Because it takes DAYS for it to digest in your system. For example, if you have red meat on Monday, it's still in your colon on Thursday, rotting and creating disease.
For desert? JELLO. RED JELLO - which helps the blood. And if you absolutely have to some sugar, have carrot cake. But that's it.
Through it all, the MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember is to drink GREEN TEA and to drink WATER (and you'll never have any kidney stones).
All life comes from the water. The Earth is 70% water. The human body is 70% percent water. If all life on the Earth comes from the water, then the same rules apply to the human body.
See, how God=Love worked that out?
Now go drink some (bottled) water, and give your body the cup of life.

So we decided to have a bite to eat.
We met at around 5:30 PM at a local eatery, and enjoyed a wonderful meal and happy conversation for the next hour or so.
I then realized that my meditation group meets on Thursday nights at 7 PM - which is the same time my friend was scheduled to make her errand.
I had not attended the meditation group for quite some time, and my friend suggested I do so.
But I hesitated.
Then my friend reminded me that usually, when we are planning on doing something that may bring us great joy we look for reasons not to follow through on the plans.
I agreed with that.
Consequently, 6:45 PM arrived, and if both me and my friend were to meet our 7 PM appointments, we would have to leave now.
So, we did. My friend went on to do what she had to do - and I hopped on the expressway.
As fate would have it, my meditation group meeting place was on the route to my house.
I once more felt compelled NOT to go the meditation, and just mosey on home.
As I came to the exit for the street to the meditation meeting, I hesitated further.
But finally, I turned off to the expressway - and went on to the meeting.
I arrived in the parking lot shy of 7 PM. But there were no parking spaces. Finally, within seconds, a space opened up - close-by to the doorway.
I parked, rushed into the buidling, and found my meditation group.
I was also hesitant about the group because a very good friend of mine that I have known for years was also a member of this group. We love each other very much, but our relationship has had its challenges. And we were kind of in the middle of a mild challenge right now.
But I marched on, and marched in.
I was hoping that one of my favorite chants would be presented during this one particular gathering, and I when I looked at the chant/song sheet, there it was:
"Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya," which translated means, "Om is the name of that inside me, which is aware of the Oneness of all things" (which, of course, I had also just chanted in the tub Thursday morning for the first time in a long time).
Clearly, this was validation that I had made the correct choice to visit this very special gathering on this one particular night.
Then, came the discussion, which was presented by the group's "host," and which followed a period of silent meditation.
This night, the topic was "friendship" - and once again, my decision to visit the meditation group at this particular time was validated.
I had earlier met with a wonderful friend who encouraged me to attend meditation, where I would meet with another wonderful friend with whom I had to love just a little bit more than usual.
I did so, and all was well.
I visited a little bit with everyone afterwards, and then left around 8:30 in order to rest properly for a 5:30 AM call (to work) the next morning.
As I left the building and returned to my car in the parking lot, I noticed that I had parked right next to my meditative friend's red SUV.
If you recall, I could not find a space until the last moment when I pulled in.
Now, I had realized that I had parked thisclose to my meditative friend's car.
Again - more validation that I had made the correct choice in attending my meditation group.
Then, when I opened the door to my car, and looked towards the passenger side, I saw one of my favorite books, THE ANGELS WITHIN US (by Randolph Price), resting on the seat.
"Of course," I said to myself.
This book had been returned to me at dinner, which was then some three hours before.
My dinner-companion-friend had borrowed the book and wanted to return it - that's initially why we met for a bite to eat in the first place.
So, as I sat there in my car, a gentle smile graced my face, as it became clear to me that the ANGELS had the entire evening planned from the get-go.
Thank you, ANGELS - I love you.

Today's post is an updated and revised edition of the post from June 14th, 2005, which presented a discussion of the "Jezebel Spirit" by Vassula - the awesome visionary who has been called by God and Jesus of Nazareth to unite the Catholic and Greek Orthadox Church (which see her website www.tlig.org).
As I wrote on June 14th, please let me clear on one thing:
I believe God comes to us as we believe Him to be. If we are Christian, He will speak to us as Jesus. Buddhist? Buddah, and so forth (as I further explain in my Message of Light post - please reference archives).
That said, here now is Vassula's (abbreviated) article:
Beware the Jezebel Spirit
(Edited teachings from the writings of Vassula)
"...(Those of the Jezebel Spirit) love to project a sense of power they do not have. It is based on intimidation, in order to cloud the minds of those they desire to oppress. How frequently that spirit tries to wield influence...
...If one does not go along with his or her action, there will be consequences. Intimidation always seeks to move the person through threats. This use of fear puts the victim under control out of fear of losing something precious to him. This is blackmail and far from God's love, because these are all improper channels, use of illegitimate power and authority, projection of power that is not ours to use. This by no means insinuates that a person shouldn't stand up for himself, but rather that it should be done through proper channels. Manipulating, intimidating and dominating another human being are blatant uses of control and illegitimate authority...
...They talk about brotherly love but they do just the opposite, consciously or unconsciously. This "love" is not a divine love or even a refined human love. Rather, it is totally selfish love with its own agenda, seeking recognition or control....She will take any trait so long as she attains her goal. The other façade to manipulate will be this of a Martyr instead of playing the Master. This façade of Jezebel will try and manipulate everyone, accusing them as evil towards her. They go around to make you believe you are misunderstanding them...
...Jezebel has no problem to lie, she is known to be notorious in lying...When the Jezebel spirit is confronted with the truth, it would perceive the confronter as the enemy. Then it counter-attacks with assaults against this "enemy". In fact, no greater wrath seems to occur than when a controlling person is confronted. This person will never admit guilt or relinquish the sense of power and will retaliate against the confronter. Defensiveness is a common reaction when a suggestion is made. Pride with a mixture of insecurity, which is deep rooted, cannot take correction, because all correction is perceived as rejection. Therefore, you will never hear a person with a controlling spirit admit he is wrong. It is always the fault of someone else. Never is there confession of guilt, contrition or true remorse...
...The Jezebel spirit is in contrast to the will of God. Her will has become god. Her will must be accomplished, regardless of the consequences. Not only did Jezebel steal authority, she manipulated those in leadership. She used lies and distortions. God waits for someone to stand up to her - to confront her...
...The greatest weakness among leaders is the fear of confrontation. They want peace without paying the price of confronting the manipulation and controlling tactics of the Jezebel spirit..
...Sometimes Jezebel becomes temporarily remorseful, but soon she'll go back to her controlling tactics. When it comes to prayer, she would be praying for her own agenda. There is no power in that. True, fervent intercessory prayer causes hearts to change from pride and loftiness to repentance and humility; nothing brings a greater death blow to the spirit of Jezebel. As is typical of a Jezebel, she would complain that she wasn't appreciated enough. In her self-centered nature she would go to any lengths, by lying and exaggerating, to make herself look spiritual; after all when being self-centered, no one is as important as they are...
...She knows how to garner sympathy by knowing how to cry at the drop of a hat and fool almost anyone...Confrontation is really the only "cure" in dealing with a Jezebel spirit. The problem is that many people fear confrontation, knowing it will create an ugly scene. Therefore they prolong the inevitable. Manipulation, control and intimidation...
...Ammunition too is another issue. Jezebels are continually collecting ammunition. They acquire information that they can use against you in case they ever begin to lose their grip on power. All what they would have collected they would use against you without mercy...
...Therefore, when people try to manipulate or dominate the will of others, it is in direct violation of God's laws and comes under Satan's domain....
...Control as well is to withhold information. A Jezebel wields power over you by knowing something you don't know in a situation. In the eyes of a Jezebel, having information you don't have is a powerful weapon of control. Temptations...
...Anyone who is tempted to control gives an open door to the Jezebel spirit...
...Jezebel is a spirit, but it has found access through uncrucified flesh. You will never have a person with a controlling spirit admit he is wrong. It is always the fault of someone else. If you insist on an apology and confront the controller, you will probably get a screaming response such as, "Yes, I'm wrong. I'm always wrong." This sarcastic spewing is a long way from repentance...
...Therefore, it is impossible to converse with a Jezebel in logic. They would write several pages dealing with all sorts of other situations than the one you are confronting them with. The context would be so vague that no one would understand head or tails. If it is in conversation they would simply talk nonsense to delude and confuse you, never responding to your question. In this situation, one has to repeat the question and ask them only to respond to that question. They never do. They never will....
...In a typical conversation, he does all the talking, whether it is about sports, the weather or the Kingdom of God. Because of this form of control, he is unable to receive input from anyone in his life. All conversation with him is one-sided. You are doing the listening. And if ever there is a break and you want to say something, the Jezebel switches off and does not hear you...
...There is no place for ego in the Kingdom of God...
...Therefore, I would warn anyone who goes to "special lessons" that the Spirit of God gives.I will end up with this; I want to add though that a lot of the context of this article has been taken out of the books written by R.T. Kendall who has written two volumes about the Jezebel spirit. The beginning of this article are passages taken from a Greek Orthodox priest's newsletter. The rest are from my own experiences...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Astronomers have discovered a giant magnetic field that is coiled like a
snake around a rod-shaped gas cloud in the constellation Orion.
Timothy Robishaw, a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, involved in the discovery, described the structure as a "giant, magnetic Slinky wrapped around a long, finger-like interstellar cloud."
Astronomers call that wound-up shape "helical."
The discovery, presented here this week at a meeting of the American Astronomical Society, was made in the Orion Molecular Cloud, a known stellar nursery in the constellation Orion. It supports a previous theory about how magnetic fields interact with interstellar gas clouds.
In 2000, Jason Fiege and Ralph Pudritz from McMaster University suggested that filamentary clouds like the Orion Molecular Cloud might exhibit a helical magnetic field around their long axis. This discovery is the first confirmation of their theory.
Astronomers have long suspected that magnetic fields, combined with gravity, help to pull dust inside the clouds together to make stars. But magnetic fields in space are difficult to detect.
"The [magnetic] field in interstellar space is very weak and there are systematic measurement effects that can produce erroneous results," Robishaw said.
The helical shape of the magnetic field is believed to be caused by matter in the interstellar cloud moving in a straight line along the length of the filament. When this happens, it causes the magnetic field around the cloud to spiral around in a corkscrew pattern. The researchers were able to detect this spiral shape using the Green Bank Telescope, a radio observatory in Virginia.
Carl Heiles, an astronomer at UC Berkeley who headed the study, said that there is one other possible explanation for the magnetic field’s helical shape. It may be that streaming jets of high-energy particles from the neighboring constellation Eriandus produced magnetic waves that were transported by shockwaves to the Orion Molecular Cloud, Heiles said.
Once there, the magnetic field could have wrapped around the cloud in the spiral pattern that was observed.
The researchers said that further study is needed to distinguish between the two possibilities.
